Ongoing throughout the year.
Mahjong, is a Chinese game that dates back more than 2,000 years. The ancient game takes patience to learn and requires a bit of strategy to play. Come along and join our intrepid players. We look forward to seeing you develop your skills and enjoyment of this game.

Sometimes there is a set book to read. At other times, each member shares about a book that has grabbed their attention. Come along for a pleasant hour of listening, appreciating and sharing books.

You can learn the tips and techniques of creating intricate patterns and pictures on everyday day objects such as plates, cups, chairs and glasses. You can learn to paint the same way you learned to write. Come along and unleash your creativity.

Conversations provides a nice mix of introspection and new learnings. There are no restrictions on topics and the operation of the group is defined by the present participants, so come along and enjoy sharing your thoughts and listening to others.

This project involves cataloguing photographs, researching information on the photographs and writing an explanation about the photographs. Once this stage is completed, the book will be put into book form, proof read and prepared for printing. If this is for you, please contact David Bowden.

Modified Darts instead of Target Shooting, Quoits instead of Curling, Bean Bag Toss instead of Basket Ball, Carpet Bowls instead of Lawn Bowls just to name a few. Why not put your name down and encourage others to come along to the Senior Citizens Centre on 24th August and have a fun day. Create your team of 4 ahead of time or wait until the day and choose a team then.
